Business Development Manager Location: Southwark, London

Salary: £50-52k base (£66-70k OTE + Uncapped Commission)

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days in office, 3 days remote)

Our client, a leading company in property management solutions and portals, is seeking an accomplished Senior Salesperson with extensive experience in B2B SaaS and property technology. You will bring a proven track record in business development, consistently surpassing targets through a goal-oriented, self-motivated approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Establish and strengthen customer networks within the property management sector, creating and leveraging business opportunities using consultative practices.
  • Customer Engagement: Increase product and service engagement through effective demonstrations, customer interactions, and onboarding processes tailored for property management solutions.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to go-to-market strategies, budget forecasting, and executing plans to meet revenue targets within the property management industry.
  • Metric Tracking: Track and report on key metrics related to outreach activities, lead generation, and conversion rates. Share knowledge, insights, and learnings with the team and wider company.
  • Team Collaboration: Mentor and support junior team members, improve work processes, and collaborate across various teams.
  • Market Insight: Stay abreast of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in the property management solutions sector.
  • CRM Proficiency: Maintain and improve CRM practices, ensuring accurate customer records and pipeline forecasting.
  • Representation: Network and represent the company at industry events, gaining insights for potential product enhancements specific to property management solutions and portals.

About You:

  • Years of Experience: 2-3 years within B2B sales, especially within SaaS and property management solutions.
  • Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of the property management sector, including knowledge of property management software, portals, and tenant management platforms.
  • Client-Focused: Excellent at face-to-face interactions and building relationships with C-suite clients within the property management industry.
  • Organised: Strong documentation and communication skills, tailored to various audiences within the property sector.
  • Resilient: Optimistic, tenacious, and comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Strategic Thinker: Capable of tying lead generation to a comprehensive strategy tailored for the property management market.
  • CRM Proficiency: Advanced user of HubSpot with strong data-informed decision-making skills and experience in property management software.
